Kombo Farm Geared towards Meeting Country's Demand for Meat

The general manager of Kombo Farm meat processing factory, Mr. Sulayman Sait Mboob, has outlined importance of setting up the factory in The Gambia. He said it is geared towards meeting the demands of the country's meat supply. He made these statements in an interview with The Point at his office in Kanifing Industrial Estate.

According to M. Mboob, the aims and objectives of establishing the factory is to meet the high demand for quality meat produced in hygienic conditions.

He disclosed that the factory will deal not only with meat but also with other products for commercial purposes. He revealed that the meat is hung for a minimum period to ensure quality tenderness and taste. He further stated that the aim of the factory is provide meat that is affordable. He concluded by urging all Gambians to contribute to national development.
