Cricket Association to Hold Elite Academy Coaching Clinic

Olisa Egwuatu, ICC/ACA Regional Development Manager for West Africa, will  arrive in Banjul in October to conduct  a one-week Elite Academy Coaching clinic for U-13,17 and senior national cricket players.

The training is expected to commence on the 4th of October and during his stay, he will also hold a two-day development seminar as well.

This information was made known to Pointsports by Johnny Gomez, President of The Gambia Cricket Association in an interview at his office.

The cricket boss also seized the opportunity to inform Pointsports of their plans to hold a national cricket week which will take place in the last week of October. He said the Cricket week will be celebrated in the form of a march passed for Junior, and Senior secondary schools, national players and Veterans.

"As part of the week-long celebration, we will also conduct a coaching clinic for schools at different levels Primary, Senior and Upper Basic Mal and Female," he added.
