Julakay Construction Accepts Liability

Julakay Engineering and Construction has recently written to the Kanifing Magistrates' Court to accept liability in a case filed by Social Security and Housing Finance Corporation (SSHFC) against the defendant.

SSHFC dragged the defendant to court for the sum of D85, 320. 08, being arrears of social security contributions and statutory penalty levied thereon from April 2004 to June 2005.

Since the defendant has accepted liability, Senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbackeh is expected to enter judgement in favour of SSHFC and a period of 14 days will be given to the defendant to settle the arrears.
