Alleged Thief in Court

The Brikama Magistrates' Court recently heard a criminal case filed by the Inspector General of Police against one Alhagie Abdoulie Jallow.

Mr Jallow is before the court on a charge of stealing, a charge he denied.

According to the particulars of the offence, the accused Alhagie Abdoulie Jallow on or about 16thof July 2008 at Gunjur village stole a ewe, female sheep, valued at D2500, being the property of one Adama Janneh.

Hearing continues.
