The Young Farmers Association of Gunjur in Kombo South will celebrate six years in existence on July 26th. The groups membership are aged 18 and 25.

Speaking to The Point, the secretary general, Mr. Abdoulie D. Touray, said that they are preparing to celebrate this year as they have others but with one notable difference. They now have female members.

According to secretary Touray, this year's theme will be "together we can make it". He said the Young Farmers, from its founding day, has made a lot of progress and brought prosperity. "We help one another in different difficult situations ranging from academic issues to health and humanitarian problems," said Touray.

Mr. Touray finally appealed to the public to support the Young Farmers in Gunjur. Members can be contacted on 7396539, 9924442 or 7244185.
