Danish NGO Donates to DOSH, Others

St George's Guild Denmark Gambia Project recently donated hospital equipment, school furniture, IT equipment, wheelchairs and Braille typewriters worth over D200,000 to various Gambian institutions. The presentation ceremony for the items was held at Serekunda General hospital.

The beneficiary institutions included Farafenni APRC Hospital, some health centres, some scouts skills centres, the Department of State for Health and Social Welfare, Sanyang Health Centre and Kansala Trust.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Mr. Pa Omar Bojang, the project co-ordinator for St George's Guild Denmark Gambia Projec, expressed delight at the donation of such valuable materials. Mr. Bojang commended the scouts in Denmark for the benevolent and philanthropic gesture through Mr. Karim and Peter Boldsen.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mr. Yusupha Jatta of the Kansala Trust, expressed gratitude to the donor. Mr. Jatta promised the donated items will be put to good use.
