The particulars of the offence revealed that the accused Newton Nete sometime in May this year robbed one Susan Pascal by beating him with an iron bar on his head thereby causing him serious bodily harm.
Following his no guilt plea, the onus now lies on the prosecution to prove the allegation against him.
The case resumes today.
