'Nice To Be Nice' Bar and Restaurant Under Spotlight

In more than one sense, no one needs persuading to visit Nice to be Nice Bar and Restaurant at Brikama 's busiest market. The bar and restaurant offers the best in terms of facilities, ambience and service. The place offers an environment that is a beautiful balance of man-made creation and nature, with 100 percent of the area comprising green lawns and plants.

Briefing 'Entertainment' boss last Monday, The Manager of the Bar/Restaurant, Mr Ebrima Sanneh,said that his Bar and Restaurant was established in 2006 and it started operating in 2008. He added that presently, there are eighteen people working with him and among them, others are doing voluntary services. Mr Sanneh further explained that the main purpose of establishing this restaurant is to assist students who cannot pay their school fees.

According to him, The Bar and Restaurant was established by YT Joungman, a Dutch lady who wishes to help Africa especially those who are in the poverty line.

On a final note, Mr Sanneh promised that his Restaurant would be one of the best for the coming tourist season within the Greater Banjul area. Asked how many customers they receive a day, he said because of the off season, a very few customers are received in the day. 'Nice to be Nice Bar and Restaurant' specialises both in African and European dishes with very reasonable prices for customers. The estabishment is scheduled to be launched on the 22 July,2008 as part of celebrating the 22nd anniversary of the 2ndRepublic.
