Nine MFDC rebels from the southern Senegalese region of
casamance will now have to wait until October when their appeal case is
expected to be heard.
The nine appellants on Wednesday appear before Justice Naceesay Salla-Wadda at the Banjul High Court, but however their appeal case could not proceed as the language interpreter was said to be indisposed.
The nine MFDC appellants are appealing against their conviction and sentences by the Banjul Magistrates Court ranging from one year to four years.
