Eight Teams Qualify for Second Round

Eight teams have successfully booked their tickets to the second stage of the 2008 Serrekunda Central Nawettan Tournament currently underway at the Mboyo football field.

The first to qualify for the second round were  Ruhagi, Jah Guide, Lions Den, Bantaba, Bakoteh Borehole, Strikers, and Freedom Fighters.

Boka Juniors were the last to book their tickets after a 3-2 win over All Stars in the first round which ended last weekend.

Meanwhile, Mawdo Sillah, Chairman of the Serrekunda Central Sports Development Committee, is appealing for sponsorship for their Nawettan Championship prizes. He said this will assist greatly towards the development of sports in the area.
