Tuesday, June 24, 2008

The sixth edition of the National Inter- departmental Sport Association football tournament between GAF and KMC has been rescheduled for 29th June 2008 at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

According to NISA Secretary General, Saikou B Jarjue, the final was supposed to take place on the 22nd June but because of The Gambia's Under 20 friendly match with Senegal, the match was postponed for this weekend.

Mr. Jarjue stated that the final would also witness the opening of the second edition of the female tournament sponsored by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon Fatoumatta Jahumpa Ceesay and named after President Jammeh

The opening will be played between Immigration Department and SSHFC at 4pm at the same venue.
