Man given bail for violating Highway Code

One Dembo Kambi was recently given bail at the sum of D3000 for allegedly causing obstruction on a public highway, contrary to section (1C) of the Road and Highway Act of 1997.

According to particulars of the offence, Dembo Kambi on or about 30 May 2008, parked his vehicle at a certain location thereby causing obstruction to other road users.

He denies any wrongdoing when the charge sheet was read out to him.
