GNL Continues To Break New Ground

The Gambia National Lottery (GNL) continue to break new ground in their drive to alleviate poverty, as the company has introduced innovate modern lottery games by creating an internet facility.

This new facility of internet services was disclosed by Mr. Dembo Fanta Bojang, Managing Director of GNL, at a presentation held at the company's headquarters in Banjul last Friday.

Mr Bojang asserted that his company, starting from June 29th 2008, will be holding draws for the instant lottery every week live on television where their customers will be walking away with bags of rice, TV sets and fans among other prizes.

He also added that the most anticipated raffle draw for the grand price of a brand new car will be held on 15th September.

It will be recalled that the three jackpot winners, Mr Bai Sainey Saho, Modou Njie and the third winner who wanted to remain anonymous were paid with cheques of D152, 500 each.

While the Monday quarter winner Mr. Yusupha Jatta was also paid a cheque of D30, 050.
