A youth,
Ousman Trawally, was ordered to dedicate 40 working-hours to community service
after admitting guilt for stealing a mobile phone.
Ousman was lately arraigned before Magistrate Edrisa Mbai of the Brikama Magistrates' Court for stealing a mobile phone valued at D2500. The mobile phone, according to court records, was the property of one Mariama Jallow of Tanji village in Kombo South.
Now, Ousman has been ordered to go to Tujereng police station where he will dedicate 40 hours of his time in the service of the community. He was also ordered to return the phone to the owner.
