Youth gets three years for attempting rape

The 2007 Banjulinding rape case has now come to a close with three-year mandatory jail term for the culprit.

Lamin Fatty was found guilty of attempting to rape a lady at the outskirts of Banjulinding in October of last year. He, according to the court records, had on 5 October 2007, fell on the lady and attempted to have an unsolicited sexual intercourse with her.
