The trial of the two men that allegedly broke into a house in Sanchaba Sulay Jobe and made away with some valuables has got off to a start, this medium can reveal.
Kutubo Tunkara and Omar Ceesay, indicted for burglary, are now anticipating the outcome of their case which started on Wednesday.
The first prosecution witness in the trial told Bundung Magistrates' Court that it was around 2pm in October of 2007 when the suspects broke into the house of the complainant. The complainant, Alieu Bah, according to the witness, was at the time hospitalised.
The duo, it was revealed, had in their alleged misadventure, made away with a computer hard drive, digital camera of Samsung brand, three generators and another mobile phone of Canon brand. The items were valued at over D25,000.
The case is expected to be heard again on June 6.
