Speaking to Pointsports in an interview, the head of delegation Mr. Bamba Njie, said, "the competition will kick off next week. The three athletes are rated as the fastest sprinter in The Gambia, Fatou Tiyana will be participating in the long jump Suwaibou Sanneh will represent The Gambia in the 100 meters while Issac Jones will run in the 200 meters."
