There appears to be no end in sight to the legal nightmare of the erstwhile principal of
William Forster is being tried for causing willful damage to property-to wit-damaging the windscreen of a vehicle.
On 14 April, Forster cast his mind back to September 2007 when the incident occurred.
According to him, it was about to rain on the fateful day of the incident and there were lots of taxis around with virtually no space. He went on to testify that as he was looking for space, he saw a car speeding towards him and he had nowhere to go but to jump for his dear life.
"In the process, my hand hit the windscreen and in just 45 minutes, the police arrived at the scene and then took us to the station. I was briefly detained and later released on bail," said Mr. Forster.
The case, chaired by John Njie, continues.
