The Assistant Station Officer of the Bundung Police Station Yaya Bah has on Monday 27thOctober 2008 testify in the on going trial of the Four police officers Namory Lamin Jammeh Sissawo Badjie Sheikh Sowe and Dawda Jallow, who were charge for aiding prisoners to escape on the 11thday of September 2008.
PW1 .Yaya Bah told the court that while on his way to the police station he received a phone call from his boss, informing him that the trial prisoners had escaped from a lawful cell.
According to PW2, when he arrived at the station he and his boss went straight to the office of the S.O. to inspect the door of the cell but he found that the padlock was not broken.
Testifying further, Mr Bahrevealed that Alieu Kanteh was the one who masterminded everything in the escape of the trial prisoners.
