The match, which was a very interesting encounter saw Latriya take an early lead in the first half by scoring three goals.
The young talented Latriya team during the second half made several attempts to score but YUNA proof more defensive and thus did not allow the opponent to dominate the game.
Speaking at the gathering, Chairman of Latriya Sports Committee, Momodou Sallah appealed to the GFA President to set up an academy for the village, noting that the talents and the structures are already in place.
He also appealed to the Youth and Sports Department through the Director to help them develop their football field and to also organize a coaching clinic for the young coaches in the area and its surrounding.
At the end of the finals, Latriya as winners were awarded a giant trophy and a cash prize of D1, 500 while the runners up YUNA received a cash prize of D1000.
The well contested final was attended by the sponsor Seedy MB Kinteh GFA President, Director of Youth and Sports Malang Jassey, and his Deputy Pa Suwareh Faye and a Cross-section of the community.
