Sonko Jileng Enterprises employee charged

One Buba Sanneh, an employee of Sonko Jileng Enterprise, Brikama branch, was recently brought before Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Brikama Magistrates' Court on a charge of stealing.

According to the particular of the offence, on or about 6th October 2008 at the Sonko Jileng Enterprise, the accused stole D66, 533.10 being the property of Sonko Jileng Enterprise, a charge he denied.

At that juncture, the police prosecutor Samateh applied for an adjournment to enable him to bring his witness to the court. The application was granted.

 Meanwhile the accused was granted court bail in the sum of 70, 000 dalasis with a Gambian surety who must swear to an affidavit of means.
