Wallidan hope to survive in 1st Division despite woeful performance

Wallidan are hoping to survive in The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League despite their woeful performance in the league campaign.

The Blue boys will play against Waa Banjul in their week-20 tie today, Wednesday, 17th April 2024 at the King George 5 Mini Stadium in Banjul at 4.30pm.

Wallidan sit third-place from bottom on the country’s Elite League table with 19 points after 19 league matches.

The Blue boys will clash to beat Waa Banjul to increase their hopes of staying in the First Division One League for another season.

Waa Banjul occupy bottom-place on the country’s Elite League table with 17 points in 19 league fixtures.

The Banjul based-team will strive to defeat Wallidan to move away from the relegation zone on the First Division League table.

It could be recalled that Wallidan beat Waa Banjul 1-0 in the first round of the country’s Elite League campaign at the King George 5 Mini Stadium in Banjul.
