U-17 to Resume Training After RamadanWednesday, September 24, 2008 After defeating Sierre Leone U-17 team in both legs of the
2009 Caf U-17 Qualifiers,the Gambia
National U-17 team will resume training after Ramadan.This was revealed by the
assistant coach of the Gambia NationalU-17 team Lamin Sambou yesterday at the
Independence Stadium in Bakau.
Mr.Sambou revealed that the team will be prepared well for
their encounter with Ghana U-17 team for the first leg in Assistant coach Sambou also expressed optimism that the Gambia National U-17 team will beat Ghana U-17 team and qualify to the 2009 Caf U-17 youth championship tournament to be hosted by Algeria.
