Hearing in Serekundanding Tragic Road Crash

Alhaji Badjie, a truck driver, has been charged with rash driving and causing the deaths of the ten.

Essa Saidy, a resident of Serekundanding, earlier this week told the Brikama Magistrates' Court that he was in his house when he heard noises on the road. 'When I came out, I found dead bodies strewn on the ground. At the scene of the accident, somebody showed me my daughter's dress and pair of shoes. A certain lady later told me that my daughter was among the victims,' he added.

The case, presided over by magistrate John Njie, continues.
