Mauritania National Team Jet into Banjul.

The national team of Mauritania has finally arrived in Banjul for the first leg of the CAF African Cup of Nations. They flew into BanjulInternationalAirport yesterday Morning.

This was revealed to Pointsports by the President of The Gambia Football Association Mr. Seedy MB Kinteh.

He said the team, led by the FA President of Mauritania, is currently in camp at the Sea View Garden Hotel.

He stated that the match will be officiated over by Guinea Bissau officials and the match commissioner will arrive from Senegal. They are expected in Banjul today for the first leg encounter of the first edition of the CAF local home based players cup to be held in Ivory Coast next year,

The qualifiers will be played on Saturday at the Independence Stadium at 5.pm and are meant to promote and expose home-based African players.

Tickets for the match range from D50 for uncovered pavilion, D100 for covered and D500 for VIP.
