Invitation for bid for the supply of two tank trucks

The Gambia National Petroleum Company Ltd (GNPC) is hereby inviting bids for the supply of two tank trucks, one with the capacity of about 50,000 litres, the other about 15,000 litres.

Sealed bids shall be delivered to: The Managing Director, Gambia National Petroleum Company, First Floor, Futurelec Building, Bertil Harding Highway, Kotu, KMC on or before 12:30 PM Wednesday, 23rd November 2011. Late bids will be rejected. For international bidders, the bids can be emailed to md@gnpc.gm before the time mentioned above.

Bidding documents for the two tank trucks may be purchased at GNPC’s office for a non-refundable fee of Dalasi 15,000 (fifteen thousand dalasi) or USD500 (five hundred US dollars). Payment for bidding documents can be made in cash or a certified bank cheque in favour of Gambia National Petroleum Company Ltd. International bidders can T/T the payment to GNPC A/C No: 8700131434400, Standard Chartered Bank Gambia, Swift Code SCBLGMGM. After the confirmation of the payment, electronic file of the bidding documents will be emailed to the international bidders.

Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address above at 12:45 PM Wednesday, 23rd November 2011.

GNPC is not obliged to accept the lowest bid and reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the bidding process and such decision will not incur any liability whatsoever on the part of GNPC.
