Youth and Sports minister visits Scorpions training

Youth and Sports Minister Hadrammeh Sidibeh has visited Scorpions training ground at the Independence Stadium in Bakau prior to their much-awaited 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Algeria.

The Gambia senior national team will host the Desert Foxes in the continent’s biggest football jamboree qualifiers on 8 September at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

Minister Sidibeh visited the team’s training ground to express his support to the players for their crucial qualifiers fixture with the North African giants.

Coach Tom Saintfiet is currently training with the local-based players drawn from the country’s domestic league at the Independence Stadium in Bakau before the arrival of the invited foreign-based players next week.
