“Yonna Forex exchange bureau is one of the most leading financial companies operating in the country. We have been in operation for ten years and we think it is necessary to come to the rural areas to provide financial services to the door steps of people over here,” Mr. Barrow said during the launching.
He said they are focusing on the countryside because they’ve noticed that people in that part of the country usually finds it difficult to access money transfers. “That’s why we thought it is necessary to come over and provide these facilities to them,” he said
Mr. Barrow urged the villagers to work-in-glove to support the Bureau’s operations and equally called on them to take ownership of the company.
Compliance officer Lamin F. Ceesay said Yonna Forex Bureau is a money transfer service company and not a bank that people can be saving their monies or to apply for a loan.
The Bureau, he said, has been in existence for ten years now and they have over 20 branches in the Kombos.
He advised the villagers to use their valued cards whenever they want to use the bureau at all times.
