forward Yankuba Jarju’s double has earned Pau Football Club a resounding 2-0
home win over US Avranches in the French third-tier over the weekend.
The 22-year-old striker, who joined the French third tier club in the summer, was handed his sixth league start of the campaign before scoring two goals in the 46th and 61st minute of the game respectively.
His doubled was enough to send Pau FC to 10th place in the 18-team table with 22 points after 18 league matches. Jarju joined Pau from Senegalese premier side Génération Foot for whom he scored eleven goals last season.
