Yankuba Colley is new APRC national mobilizer

Reports monitored on GRTS revealed that Mr.Yankuba Colley the Mayor of KMC has been appointed as the new APRC National Mobilzer.

Mr. Colley replaces Antouman Saho as APRC Mobilize.
Yankuba Colley was born in Tallinding, Kanifing Municipality on February 1960. He attended Wesley Primary in 1966 and Kafuta Primary School from 1973 to 1976 then to Crab Island Secondary School from 1976 to 1980.

Mr. Colley enlisted in the Gambia Police Force on March 1st 1982 and retired in March 1992. Upon his retirement, he travelled to the United Kingdom where he studied at Chelsea College in Bristol, in 1994.

Mayor Yankuba Colley contested the councillorship election under the ticket of the ruling APRC in 2002 and won.
In early 2006, he was unanimously elected by the KMC councilors as the Deputy Mayor of the Kanifing Municipal Council.
Mr. Colley replaces Mr. Antouman Saho, Minister of Fisheries and Water Resources, who was the National Mobiliser of the ruling APRC party. Mr. Saho?s predecessor was Mr. Yankuba Touray who occupied the position for a very long time.
