World Festival Of Black Arts Soon

The World Festival of Black Arts (WFBA) is set to kick-start soon in the Senegalese capital Dakar from the 1st to 21st December 2009.

In the context of globalization, the WFBA was catalogued with the view to remobilize and enliven the diverse African cultures and bring together our brothers in the Diaspora for the sake of the development of the African continent.

In keeping with its vocation as a land of creativeness and dialogue, Senegal will be the host of the creative minds of Africa and Africans in the Diaspora around the theme of "African Renaisance."     

President Wade is the initiator for the revitalization of this historic event. He has given himself without stint to by his enthusiastic involvement in the pre-occupation of the black world in the Third Millennium.
