Waterman URR Win GFA Regional Female League

Waterman female football team of Upper River Region, URR in Basse are the regional champions of The Gambia Football Association GFA first regional female league.

They defeated Jalikas female football team of Essau in North Bank Region NBR by 4 goals to zero. The match was played at Mansajang Kunda football field ground last Saturday. Speaking to the Pointsports, yesterday from Mansajang Kunda the GFA Regional coach for URR Mr. Badou Saidy said that although they have been crowned regional champions they will receive their prize at a later date.
