Wallidan Sunday maintained their incredible run form in the 2018-2019 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) domestic division one league season following their 1-0 victory over Tallinding United in the week-three fixture played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

The blue boys defeated Banjul United on similar score line in their opening league match prior to their match with Tallinding United, who drew goalless with Marimoo in their second league match after losing to Brikama United 1-0 in their opening fixture.

Midfielder Modou Lamin Sawo’s strike from penalty spot in the first half, was enough to earn Wallidan their second victory in the new domestic league season with 3 points in two league matches with a game in hand against defending league champions Gamtel, who beat Gambia Ports Authority 1-0 at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Marimoo defeated Fortune on the same score line at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium whiles Hawks drew goalless with FF cup champions Gambia Armed Forces at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on the same day.

Marimoo grabbed 7 points in three league matches and Wallidan with 6 points in two league matches with a game in hand against defending league champions Gamtel.
