thrashing Samger 3-1 in the week-eighteen fixture played at the Independence
Stadium in Bakau on Tuesday.
The blue boys were defeated in their last three matches in the second round of the country’s top flight league before pounding Gambia Ports Authority 2-1 to convalesce in the league campaign.
They notched in three goals and Samger scored one to secure a convincing win over the academy boys to close gap on current league leaders Gambia Armed Forces to four points.
Wallidan have now bagged 28 points after eighteen league outings and four points behind league leaders Gambia Armed Forces, who clutched 32 points in eighteen league matches.
