Defending FF Cup champions Wallidan are hunting for revenge against Hawks to progress to the quarterfinal of the 2015-2016 Gambia Football Federation FF Cup competition.

The blue boys will rub shoulders with red devils in the round sixteen fixtures of the country’s league cup today, Thursday 14 April 2016, at the Independence Stadium.

Wallidan lost to Hawks 5-0 in the 2015-2016 Gambia Football Federation’s domestic division one league recently, and will be contentious for revenge against Hawks to progress to the quarterfinal after losing to the red devils horribly in the domestic league as well as keeping their chances of retaining their 2014-2015 FF Cup crown.

Hawks, on the other hand, will also be sharp to bash Wallidan and advance to the quarterfinal as well as keep their chances of winning the FF Cup after several years of trophy drought.

Marimoo will welcome Tallinding United in the all-second division derby contest at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda. Both sides are brawling to defeat each other to advance to the quarterfinal.

Brikama United will host Gambia Armed Forces in the all-division one derby at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium. Brikama United and Gambia Armed Forces are eager to edge-pass each other to sail to the quarterfinal.

Defending league champions Gamtel will play against second tier side PSV Wellingara at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium. The telecommunication giants have won the FF Cup four times in a row before clinching their first-ever division one league title last season.

Elsewhere, in the 2016 FF Cup, champions Banjul United will meet second tier side Serrekunda East Bi at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium on the same day.
