State, Nigeria, was last Saturday at gala and and awards night alongside
President Adama Barrow, other senior
Army and Police officers received the Peace and Development Ambassador
at the 15th Africa Security Water Awards, Conference and Exhibition, held in The
Gambia from 14th to 16th November.
Whilst in The Gambia, the popular Nigerian King book time visited Gambia’s founding father and first president of the Republic of The Gambia, Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara at his Fajara residence with her spouse, former first lady Cluld Jawara. The king also later visited the royal Bojang clan in Brikama, west coast region, where he was given a royal welcome. He was given the honourary citizen of the character of a king and was given a gift which he accepted.
In return, the king also donated $3000 for biscuits and his book: ‘Character of a King’
He invited the paramount chief of The Gambia and the Bojang royal family for a visit to Rivers States in Nigeria.
The king visit was facilitated by Hon Fatoumatta Jahumpa Ceesay – FJC , a consultation on Governance, Peace and Conflict Resolution and Gender/Children.
HRH Dr Chu was accompanied by the traditional chiefs and staffs.
