Training and Salon Skills center have held their ninth graduation ceremony at
Paradise Suites Hotel in Kololi.
Victoria Goddard Tamba, Proprietress of the training center said the center was established in August 2008 and since then, over 450 students have graduated from there with most of them now employed in public and private business. “We are partnering with the National Training Authority, YMCA, NYSS and other NGOs helping students to have immediate access to employment by providing them job opportunities.
She said they offer certificate and diploma courses in hairdressing and cosmetology, adding that over the years they have maintained high standard of honesty with their customers and business expansion.
Cecilia Goddard-Njie, a senior lecturer at the training center said thanked parents, sponsors, families and friends for their love and constant support to the center.
She told the graduates that it takes real dedication and determination to complete their courses, saying the day is a chance to formally recognise their move to put what they learnt into practice.
