Veteran striker Demba Savage scores for Honka

Scorpions veteran striker Demba Savage has scored for his Finnish top flight club, FC Honka during their 3-0 home win over HIFK in the week-fifteen fixtures of the Finnish Veikkausliiga (Premier League) played at Tapiolan Espoo stadium on Saturday.

The 31-year-old striker scored his side third goal with a remarkable finished in the 84th minute just before Lucas Kaufmann and Javi Hervas scored in the 7 and 55 minutes respectively to give their side a 3-0 victory over HIFK.

This latest goal from the Gambian has now made it two goals so far for him in the Finnish Veikkausliiga after playing 13 matches.

The former Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) player has now scored a total of 72 goals for Finnish Veikkauliiga in 230 league appearances

Demba Savage’s Honka FC team is currently on second position in the Finnish Veikkauliiga table with 27 points, a point behind first place occupant LLves FC, while HIFK FC is in nine positions with 15 points after 15 matches.
