Universal Academy shatters Jambanjelly Utd

Universal Football Academy has shattered Jambanjelly United’s hundred percent record in the 2017-2018 West Coast Regional third division league.

The Lamin-based football Academy beat Jam-City boys 2-1 in their re-scheduled fixture played at the Jambanjelly Football field on Wednesday to snatch their first-ever victory in the West Coast Regional third tier.

Jambanjelly United, who lost to Universal Football Academy on the same score line last season came for revenge but failed in their attempt.

Universal Academy grasped the maximum points after netting twice in the game to land their first-ever win in the West Coast Regional third division after three league matches. Jambanjelly United went home empty handed after notching one goal, which eventually proved to be a consolation for them.

Jambanjelly United has 6 points in three league matches while Universal Football Academy has 4 points in three league matches.

Sifoe United were held to a 1-1 draw by Berewuleng FC at the Sifoe Football Field and Sanchaba Sulay Jobe Football Academy were also held to the same score margin by Lamin United at the Dembadou Mini Stadium on the same day.

Lamin United and Berewuleng FC both have secured 4 points each after three league matches while Sifoe United and Sanchaba Sulay Jobe Football Academy both grasped 2 points each in three league matches.
