Unique FC Beat Linguere In Bakau Nawettan

Many might be tempted to question the reason behind Linguere's poor display in the ongoing Bakau Nawettan.

The recently crowned super cup champions have so far lost twice in a row, amidst speculation that they may face an uphill task of qualifying to the second stage of the summer championship.

According to the Head Coach of the last year's league winners, Dawda Ceesay, alias Soto, Linguere will leave no stone unturned in its efforts to snatch all the needed points in order to avoid the risk of relegation from the Nawettan.

Linguere is notorious of becoming from behind to make a late qualification, but this latest setback is becoming increasingly frustrating for the team officials, including Pa Jallow who was totally disappointed with the team's poor run of form in recent times, thus expressing confidence of Linguere's possibility of recovering from their poor start.

A sensational goal from Unique Fm striking duo Luis Farakhan Danso and Haruna Jammeh was enough for Unique FM to continue their 100 percent start to the Nawettan with a deserved 2-nil win over Linguere whose poor display in the summer championship is showing no sign of abating.

Despite the absence of some of Linguere's star players, such as Babucarr Jawara, alias Kanteh, Left Back Modou Jatta and Brother Ousman Jatta Linguere were highly-tipped to be the winner of this crucial encounter as they have done before. But the rejuvenated Unique Fm side, led by inspirational Captain Alpha Omar Jallow, was the best team of the day, owing to the fact that they had dominated ball possessions and also the tempo of the game was controlled by Coach Yahya Fatajo and his young squad that is also vowed to end their 9 years trophy droughts.
