painted Methodist Special School as part of their support to complement
national development in education.
Nfamara Saidykhan who is the brainchild of the exercise said Foundation supports Gambian by sponsoring needy students in collaboration with GCPA, a united States-based Foundation. “We sponsor students based on their weak financial background and performance,” he said.
He said some of the schools that the Foundation is helping include St. Peter’s and Gambia high schools, saying the project started in the Greater Banjul Area and later found the need to expand to rural areas.
Dr. David Daniel, head of the team said the gesture was part of their support in education, saying they have been helping the school for many years.
Deputy headmaster of the school Kwensi Amaku Mensah said, “We are very grateful and appreciative of volunteers’ work.”
