Gambia’s national U-23 team Friday defeated their Moroccan counterparts 1-0 in the second leg of the international friendly.

The friendly game was part of Gambia’s U-23 preparation for a solid youth U-23 team for the nearest engagements in a game played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau. The international friendly attracted a large crowd of spectators.

The home side dominated proceedings for much part of the game but failed to take their chances and would have been disappointed playing again on home soil empty handed, following a goalless stalemate in the first international friendly played at the country’s biggest football arena on Tuesday.

Atlanta hot man Musa Barrow widely called printoo scored the only goal in 47th minute of the game to send the entire Stadium into ecstacy.
