Jallow and Ebrima Ceesay were Wednesday arraigned before Magistrate Thomasi of
the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with two counts of conspiracy to
commit felony and stealing from a motor vehicle.
The duo denied any wrongdoing, and were each granted court bail of D10,000 with two Gambian sureties, who must swear to an affidavit of means.
The case was adjourned until 24 October 2017, for hearing.
The charge sheet on count one read that on 10 October 2017, at Tippa Garage, Bakoteh, in the Kanifing Municipality, the duo jointly conspired among themselves to commit a felony, to wit stealing.
Count two stated that they stole a mobile phone marked Nokia 3410 valued at D700, from a motor vehicle with registration number BJL 6755, the property of one Ismaila Ceesay.
