Turkish club signs Gambian Mustapha Carayol

Turkish top flight club, Adana Demirspor have signed Gambian international winger Mustapha Carayol on a 3-year contract with one-year option, on Monday.

Carayol, who was released by his Cypriot club, Appollon Limassol after one season, will now start a new adventure in Turkish football next season.

The 31-year-old Scorpions player, played in England throughout his career, has a deal with the Adana-based team to continue his career at the international level.

In a statement published on the club’s website, the Blue Lightnings team said it signed the 31-year-old Gambian attacker Mustapha Carayol on a 3-year contract with a one-year option.

Musrat Sancak, president of Adana Demirspor expressed delight for signing the Gambian international attacker. “I am very happy to have signed for Adana. I can’t wait to get going and meet the amazing fans I have heard about so much. Thanks, Musrat for welcoming me to your club,” the Gambian new signing wrote on Instagram.
