Tunisia club signs Gambian striker Adama Jammeh

ATunisian giant football club, Etoile du Sahel has completed the signing The Gambia Armed Forces’ (GAF) striker, Adama Jammeh on a four-year contract after successfully completing a trial at the club in Sousse.

 Jammeh went on a two weeks trial at Etoile du Sahel and impressed the coaching staff of one of the most successful clubs in the Tunisian football before being offered a four-year contract.

Striker Jammeh guided The Gambia U-20 to a WAFU triumph in Liberia. “This milestone development [Adama Jammeh’s transfer] is described as a move in the right direction as more players within The Gambia Armed Forces setup to look forward to more opportunities abroad to showcase their talents,” the Khaki Boys said in a statement on its official website.

Étoile Sportive du Sahel, one-time African Champions and two-time CAF Confederation Cup champions are currently 4th in the ongoing Tunisian league with four points after two outings.
