They opened scores through Mam Nderry Touray in the 29th minute of the game before Zenith Bank level maters through Basiru Camara in the 37th minute from penalty spot, to make it 1-1.
Molamin Gibba and Abdoulie Sarr netted the second and third goals for Trust Bank in the second half to claim the vital three points.
FBN bank drew goalless with Eco bank and FIB also drew goalless with GTBank while BSIC drew 1-1 with Mega Bank.
Trust Bank team manager Kebba Fatty said he was fine with his team banging 6 points after two group matches, adding that they scored the highest number of goals in the tournament, so far.
He stated that his team trained hard for the win over Zenith, saying they defeated Central Bank by 1-0 in their opening match.
Zenith Bank head coach Malick Jagne said he was happy with the performance of his boys, noting that they performed extremely well.
Chairman of the inter-Bank football tournament Lamin Sanyang said the tournament is going smooth and all games were played without problems. He revealed that inter-bank committee is facing financial constraint, adding that committee members are fully committed to the project. “I call on all bankers to come and support the committee.”
