Trust Bank introduces mobile Banking App

Trust Bank Limited Monday introduced its first mobile Banking App targeting to maintain its perseverance and commitment to break boundaries and leverage on its robust information technology platform to bring solutions for its customers.

The bank has pioneered many innovative solutions for its customers like internet banking, bill payment system and transaction alerts amongst others. The new mobile banking system and Unstructured Supplementary Service Data –USSD-will provide world-class banking experience to customers. It is available for download on Google play and on the Apple App store, while the USSD is used by simply dialing the short code, *533#.

The App can be accessed from a mobile phone device with internet connection but the USSD service does not depend on internet connection as it can be operated from the simplest mobile phone device.

The USSD and the mobile App are yet another testimony of Trust Bank’s deep commitment to the philosophy of putting their customers’ needs as the focal point of their business.

The two Apps are enhanced with new looks and exciting features to improve user experience. With their new features, the Mobile App and USSD allow customers to perform balance enquiry; mini statement; fund transfer -to own accounts and to other TBL accounts; mobile air time top up; cash power purchase and salary advance.

The salary advance is a special function created by Trust Bank and it is the first of its kind in the country. With this function, salaried customers can now apply for hassle-free salary advance through the App and USSD. Applications are processed instantly and approvals can be within minutes of the application, which users can cash from various ATMs to take care of their urgent financial needs.

These are the kind of hassle free services that customers really want and value. Trust Bank will be very much part of their daily lives and also continue to be innovative to stay relevant, which is a consequence of understanding with the bank.

Customers will not need to call or queue at Trust Bank branches just to get an update of their account balances nor queue for cash power at NAWEC sales outlets. Salary advance request has now been automated on the Mobile Banking platform.
