as he is fondly called, epitomises the text book definition of exemplary
leadership, uprightness and humility.
His acute sense of justice and fair play, his remarkable sang froid even in the face of glaring provocation, his pleasant and charming natural disposition, his indomitable courage, his calm and cheerful personal demeanour are a testimony to some of the sterling qualities that endeared him to the hearts of many who were privileged to come in contact with him.
Undoubtedly, he will not only be surely remembered but dearly missed by all and sundry.
Brother Pesseh, you have made your own contribution to society, albeit in no small measure.
Now rest peacefully in your Makers hands in His Jannatul Firdaus where you rightfully belong.
“Requiescat in Pace” until we meet again and then indeed we shall smile, just as we did in our youthful and ebullient days between the Long street, Fitzgerald street and Clarkson street area.
Goodbye, my dear brother and friend of all the world.
