Top Spot hosts FC Halifax in late Modou Janneh Nawettan

Top Spot FC will play against debutants FC Halifax Town in the ongoing late Modou Janneh intermediate Nawettan tomorrow at the Gunjur Nyamina Football Field at 3pm.

The Athletics boys have bagged 1 point in group H after one match.

Top Spot need a win against FC Halifax Town tomorrow to progress to the round of sixteen following their goalless draw with Young Sunderland FC in their opening group match.

FC Halifax Town has zero point in group H and are yet to play a single match in the current campaign. The Gunjur Fabaida-based club will be eyeing to beat Top Spot FC to fancy their hopes of reaching round of sixteen in their debut season in the annual nawettan.

Defending league champions Young Santos FC will clash with Jabas FC in group A at 5pm on the same day.

Gunjur Santos-based club is currently topping group A with maximum 6 points after defeating Nyofelleh 2-1 and Njies FC 2-0 in their two opening group matches and will be playing for pride against Jabas FC.

Jabas FC is occupying third-place in group A with 1 point after their goalless draw with the debutants and need to beat Young Santos FC to improve their chances of reaching the round of sixteen. On Sunday 22 July, Nofelleh will meet debutants Njies at the early kick off.

The Nyofelleh village team is currently sitting second place in group A having bagged 3 points after two group matches and need to beat Njies FC, who have a single point in two group matches.

Jujuba FC will clash with Kanjang at the 5pm encounter. Both Sides have 3 points apiece in group B after two group matches. Jujuba need a point to progress to the second round.

Kajabang need a win to advance to the second round but a draw will see Jujuba FC through to the second round. Dokula FC will face Kontano FC in the all-Sanchaba derby clash in group G.
