Togo will host The Gambia in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers today at the Stade Municipal in Lome at 4pm.

The Hawks will be keen to take the home advantage to beat The Gambia to clinch their first victory in the qualifiers after collecting just one point in group D following their goalless draw at home to Benin last month.

The Scorpions will be eyeing a positive result away from home against the Togolese in the first leg in Lome and to finish job in the return leg in Banjul on Tuesday at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

Meanwhile, Benin will play against Algeria in the other Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers this weekend in Cotonou. The Squirrels and Desert Foxes have both secured 4 points each in group D of the qualifiers.

The Scorpions and the Hawks have both snatched 1 point each in group D after drawing with Benin and Algeria last month.
